The City of Richmond offers a Transient Moorage Program on a first come, first served basis at the Imperial Landing Dock for recreational boaters to visit Steveston. Maximum stay is 3 days.
The dock is 600’/183m in length with an average draft of 14’3”/4.3m on the outside of the dock.
The east and west ends of the dock (25’/7.5m on each end) are designated as recreational fishing zones. Moorage is not permitted in these areas.
Moorage on the inside of the dock is prohibited without prior approval from the City.
Moorage Fees
Current moorage rate is $1.50/ft per 24 hours, which includes electricity.
Payment can be made at the meter located on the pier. Your vessel name or bow/licence number is required for valid moorage.

Steveston Village
The historic village of Steveston was once a thriving centre of salmon fishing and canning, earning it the nickname “Salmonopolis”. Visitors can now experience the rich culture and heritage of this community by visiting the popular Steveston Fishermen's Wharf, enjoying a variety of food, drink and shopping, and exploring the Steveston Heritage Sites.
Britannia Shipyards Dock
Additional moorage is available at the Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site for historical wooden vessels with BC coastal history. Moorage is available for up to one month in Summer (April 1 to September 30), and longer in Winter (October 1 – March 31). Rates are $1.50 per foot for 24 hours, or $11 per foot per month.
