Bring the children and make a Christmas decoration out of recycled wood and other materials.

Location: Richmond Boat Builders at Britannia Heritage Shipyard

BUILD A GREENLAND PADDLE FOR FREE!

Join us at Richmond Maritime Festival on August 6 and 7 and make your own Greenland Paddle for free. Make and customize this easy-to-use and traditional style of kayak paddle assisted by professional boat builder Rod Tait of Orca Boats. Paddles are completed in one day.

Please pre-register by emailing bhssprograms@gmail.com to ensure we have enough materials.

Event hours: August 6th and 7th, 10 am to 5 pm

BUILD YOUR OWN WINE RACK

Use supplied recycled and reclaimed wood to make a unique, handmade rack to take home. All tools are supplied for the required measuring, sawing, drilling and hammering.
