Please join the Steveston Historic Sites this Saturday, December 1 for a festive day filled with holiday spirit all throughout Steveston Village.

  • Britannia Shipyards Heritage Christmas Craft Fair: Over 50 local artisans and food trucks will be joining us site wide from 11:00-4:00pm. The craft fair has expanded this year and will be held in the Seine Net Loft, Murakami Boatworks and Chinese Bunkhouse.   • Winter Tram: Climb aboard the beautifully restored Tram Car 1220 where Santa will be listening to the wishes of youngsters and the young-at-heart. Enjoy children’s craft activities and festive refreshments from 12:00-3:00pm. https://www.facebook.com/events/301741240430383/
  • Songs in the Snow (Steveston Museum): Gather family and friends to welcome the holiday season with the Songs in the Snow concert series in Steveston Museum’s Town Square park. This free, family-friendly holiday event features local musicians, Girl Guides carolling in vintage costumes, children’s crafts, hot beverages sponsored by G&F Financial, local vendors and more! 4:00-6:00pm.

The second annual Heritage Christmas Craft Fair – taking vendor applications now!

Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is hosting the second annual Heritage Christmas Craft Fair on December 1. This year, the craft fair is expanding site wide and will be taking place in the Seine Net Loft, Murakami Boatworks and Chinese Bunkhouse buildings.

Please e-mail your completed vendor application forms and photos to britannia@richmond.ca by Monday, August 20th. Successful applicants will be notified and registered by August 31st, 2018. Vendor participation fee is $45.00.

Learn to restore a canvas canoe in this day-long course. Stretching, sealing and priming the canvas will be covered with explanation of different tools, methods and materials.
